Los Angeles based makeup artist Anthony H. Nguyen is known for creating highly innovative and cutting edge looks for the most risk-taking editorials.
Before working in the makeup industry, he practiced filmmaking, theatre, & photography. He wrote, directed, filmed, & edited short films that screened internationally at film festivals such as the LA Film Fest, Channel Islands Film Fest, & the Vietnamese International Film Festival. This is where he picked up doing makeup behind the scenes and launched from there.
Today, Anthony works on makeup for various celebrities, published editorials, commercials, runway, and TV/film. Some of his talents include Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Hilary Duff, Vivica A. Fox, Fairuza Balk, & Paris Hilton and musical artists such as Rita Ora, Neon Hitch, and Bonnie Mckee. He’s also worked on many published editorials such as Schon! Magazine, Lovecat, and WhoWhatWear.com, and has been on set with some of the top photographers in the industry such as Ellen Von Unwerth.
